I’m Alison Wiley here in Oregon, a writer, collaborator and mentor on electric school buses (ESBs) and community resiliency. I’m on the ancestral lands of the Multnomah band of the Chinook peoples.
I’ve been in the transportation field since 2006, specializing in electric buses since 2016. My monthlyish Electric School Bus Newsletters appear on this site as articles. I seek to make the complex, fast-growing field of ESBs more accessible and understandable to its advocates, practitioners and would-be practitioners. I curate such topics as funding, equity, funding sources, challenges to electrifying and more, in a friendly, unscripted, uncommercialized voice that’s not offered elsewhere.
